It is not surprising to dog owners that new research is showing that dogs teach compassion and sensitivity.
Through an exciting new coloring book called “Sheriff Sheldon’s Deputies of Safety, kids learn about sensitivity. As a homeless dog himself, Sheriff Sheldon helped many other homeless dogs find forever homes. For instance, he did this by helping the whole family, including the children, understand the family pet. Through this unique coloring book, the whole family can learn how to keep the family pet and the children safe. And, as a free bonus, it comes with an online safety course and a free club that has monthly activities for the children, dog, and whole family can do together with the whole family. The coloring book and online course can be used individually at home, as a group activity or schooling aide.
We recently taught dog safety at the Atlanta Pet expo. From this experience, we created a new coloring book to accompany the Sheriff Sheldon Deputies of Safety online course. And, for a limited time, when you purchase the coloring book through Amazon, you receive the course and membership to the online Safety Club for FREE ($49.00 value.)
To order the coloring book, go to https://pawsiloveyou.com/coloring-books/for a link to Amazon page. As part of the coloring book, for only $12.00 that includes FREE course and FREE monthly Ruff Rider’s club.
According to the research: Dogs Teach Compassion and Sensitivity
New research is showing that dogs can teach compassion and sensitivity. Although bringing a pet into a family is certainly not a step to be taken lightly or impulsively, it is worth giving serious consideration to providing your young person with the experience of caring for an animal, to foster compassion. This research is showing that children who care for pets learn important values such as sensitivity, compassion, responsibility, and unconditional love, empathy, and compassion. As a summary, a child who is compassionate towards animals will grow to be compassionate and sensitive to humans too.
